As well as training you
on how to use the various features of AutoCAD, I can also carry out
the following tasks.
Template setup:
Creating different
sized drawing sheets with built in attributes and dynamic blocks to help
fill in the title block easily.
Setting up plot style
tables, layouts and printer settings.
Creating different
layers, layer groups, colours and linetypes.
Creating different text
styles and dimensions styles.
Setting up system
variables and options to make AutoCAD work in a way that suits your
style of drawing work.
Saving all of this in a
dwt template file(s) and making AutoCAD automatically load it/them when
you start drawing.
Dynamic blocks:
Going one step further
with your blocks and utilising the dynamic features that are now
available in AutoCAD.
This means that you can
have different shapes and sizes of objects merged into one block
definition and choose which form each block takes on the screen.
So for example an M8
nut can be changed to and M6 nut or an oval basin can be changed to a
rectangular one without deleting and re-inserting.
Libraries and tools:
Turning your existing
range of individual blocks into streamlined tool palettes, creating
pre-defined settings to speed up re-using them and making them
accessible to all of your users.
If you are still using
the insert command to bring in blocks, then this is for you.
Draughting:
Turning hand drawn
sketches or surveys into AutoCAD drawings.
Converting existing
paper drawings into AutoCAD dwg files.
Amending and updating
existing drawings.
Covering for staff
holidays.
