Cad System Setup
As well as training you
on how to use the various features of AutoCAD, we can also carry out
the following tasks.
Template file
setup:
Creating drawing sheets with built in attributes and dynamic blocks to help fill in the title block easily.
Setting up plot style tables, layouts and printer settings.
Creating different layers, layer groups, colours and linetypes.
Creating different text styles and dimensions styles.
Setting up system variables and options to make AutoCAD work in a way that suits you.
Saving all of this in a dwt template file and making AutoCAD automatically load it when you start drawing.
Dynamic blocks:
Creating a library of blocks and utilising the dynamic features that are now available in AutoCAD.
This means that you can have different shapes and sizes of objects merged into one block definition.
E.g. an oval basin can be changed to a rectangular one without deleting and re-inserting.
Libraries and tools:
Turning your existing range of individual blocks into streamlined tool palettes.
Creating pre-defined settings to speed up re-using them and making them accessible to all of your users.
If you are still using the insert command to bring in blocks, then this is for you.
